Finding Us
I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ
Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and
by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word;
be ready in season and out of season; reprove,
rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and
teaching...  As for you, always be sober-minded,
endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill
your ministry.
2 Timothy 4:1-2,5

As I step into the position of pastor of Knapps
Station Community Church I am encouraged,
challenged, and spurred onward by Paul's charge to
Timothy. Timothy a fellow leader in the church was
young, relatively inexperienced and beholding a task
that only God could be successful at. I trust God to
do as only he can do here at KSCC, he is our
strength, our fortress and our deliverer. I take this
charge to heart as a new pastor seeking what the
will of the Lord is on my life and my ministry. I see
the will of the Lord here boldly declared in his word,
as Paul writes to Timothy so God calls me to preach
the word, be ready, and shepherd the flock. I take
this as my call and my duty. I look forward to
preaching and shepherding this church as God's
word and his indwelling Holy Spirit enable me. He
and only he can make me ready for all challenges
and joys that life will bring and to this end my hope is
firmly set. It is a great privilege and blessing to be
here at KSCC, let us look to God, he has always
been faithful in the years past, and he will be faithful
in the years ahead. May God be glorified, as our
satisfaction, hope and direction, come from him and
him alone.
